Congratulations to the 33 Cathedral Catholic athletes who were named to their respective All-CIF teams for their outstanding efforts during their spring season. Cathedral had multiple athletes named to first and second teams, representing the best in the county in their sport.

Leading the way was Girls’ Beach Volleyball duo and Pair of the Year, Lauren Hanson ’26 and Ava Stoddard ’24 who helped lead their team to a third straight CIF San Diego Section championship and its first Open Division title. Stoddard, a senior who will play at Santa Clara and Hanson, a sophomore, won last season with different partners.

Libero of the year for Boys’ Volleyball was our very own JT Hanson ’24 who helped lead his Dons to their third straight trip to the Open Division title game. While his squad fell short in the title game, Hanson is looking forward to continuing his play at Long Island University next year.
