March 16, 2025, Long Beach CA. The Cathedral Catholic Dance Team closed out their competition season with a remarkable weekend at WCE Nationals in Long Beach. Competing in multiple categories — medium pom, medium lyrical, medium hip-hop, small contemporary, and small lyrical — the Dons delivered stunning performances that showcased their talent, dedication, and passion.

A special congratulations goes to the small contemporary team for advancing to the prestigious gala and securing an impressive 2nd place finish. Watch their performance HERE. An even bigger celebration is in order for the small lyrical team, who not only took home 1st place but also earned the coveted Best Choreography award, thanks to the creative brilliance of Ms. Alexa Huey.

The Dons also shined in solo performances, with each dancer leaving a lasting impression on the stage. Their artistry and poise were a testament to the countless hours of hard work and preparation leading up to this event.

Adding to the unforgettable weekend, Cathedral Catholic Dance alumni returned to cheer on the team, filling the venue with unwavering support and Dons spirit. Their presence was a heartwarming reminder of the lasting bonds and legacy within the program.
