Congratulations to wrestler Sean Magtoto ’24 and girls’ basketball player Alana Brackett ’24 on being recognized as Cathedral Catholic’s San Diego City Conference Winter Athletes of the Year. Sean Magtoto Highlights: 1st place at the San Diego Section D3 CIF tournament, 1st team All Eastern League, All Academic Team, Cathedral’s Most Outstanding Heavyweight Wrestler, 1st place at 5th Annual Ranger Roundup & Battle at the Beach events, & an overall record of 38-7 

Alana Brackett Highlights: Co-Western League Champions, San Diego CIF DI Champions, DIII State Regional Semifinals, Western League Player of the Year, UT Student Athlete of the Week, All Academic Team, Surpassed the 1,000 point scoring mark & stats to finish the season are 19.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.5 apg, 3.2 spg
