2023 Fall All CIF Selections
Congratulations to all our Cathedral Catholic athletes who were named to their respective All-CIF teams for their outstanding efforts during their fall season. Cathedral had multiple athletes named to first and second teams, representing the best in the county in their sport.
Leading the way was Jenna Hanes ’24 and Maya Evens ’25 who were named Player of the Year and Libero of the Year respectively, as they led their volleyball team to back-to-back Open Division CIF titles. Tommy Corcoran, Boys’ Water Polo and Dan Geiger, Cross Country were tabbed as Coach of the Year in their respective sports with each leading their team to CIF titles. Tommy led his boys’ water polo team to an Open Division title and Dan led his girls’ cross country team to another San Diego CIF Division III title and a State CIF Division III title.
