The CIFSDS would like to congratulate the Mission Fed Student Athletes of the Year for the Fall 2023 season.  Mission Fed and the CIFSDS are proud of the athletic leadership this year’s honorees have shown in their schools and communities. Cathedral Catholic is honored that Alexandria Pena ’24 was recognized as the Fall Athlete of the Year for City Conference. She is a 4-year varsity athlete in cross country, soccer, and track and field. She was selected as the Western League Runner of the Year for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. She has been leading Cathedral Catholic girls’ cross country team to unparalleled success since she stepped on campus. They have been Western League and CIF Division III champions every year she has competed!

On top of her athletic prowess, she is a leader in our Dons community. She is the president of the Second Lap Club, Leader of the Lucky Ducklings Club, Coached Special Olympic athletes in soccer, and helps teach art at her former middle school to name a few of her activities outside of sport.
