Boys Swim & Dive Capture CIF Division II Championship; Girls Finish Fourth at CIF Finals
Cathedral Catholic’s Swim & Dive program delivered an outstanding performance at the CIF San Diego Section Division II Finals on Saturday, May 9, at Southwestern College, with the Dons combining for one team championship, multiple individual titles, and several state-qualifying performances.
The Cathedral Catholic boys claimed the CIF Division II team championship with 270 points, while the girls placed fourth overall with 189 points. Throughout the meet, the Dons posted numerous personal bests and showcased the program’s depth and strength.

McPhail Earns Sportsmanship Award
Senior Colin McPhail was honored with the CIF Sportsmanship Award. McPhail has been a tremendous leader for the Dons all season, consistently encouraging teammates, supporting others, and bringing positive energy to every practice and competition.
Boys Team Wins CIF Division II Title
The boys team captured the section championship behind two individual champions and dominant relay performances.
