The Dons bring on the heat in beach volleyball! The beach volleyball program at Cathedral Catholic has grown immensely over the years, with the girls team winning the first-ever San Diego Section Division 1 Championship in 2022.

Dons ballplayers have a long history dating back to Uni with 12 CIF titles won since 1972 and 24 league titles since 1961. The varsity, JV and freshman games are full of energy! Catch the Dons hitting home runs, dancing along to walk-up songs and dashing around the bases.

Opened in 2005, Manchester Stadium is home to the Dons. This stadium, boasting a state-of-the-art sports turf field and surrounding track, holds a capacity of 5,000 people.

Enthusiastic cheers and shouts of victory echo throughout the Clayer Center most afternoons and evenings, as the Dons put in every effort to win each athletic competition. The Clayer Center is home to many of Cathedral Catholic’s teams, including badminton, basketball, cheer, dance, fencing, volleyball and wrestling.

Six-court home of Boys’ & Girls’ Tennis, boasting 20+ combined CIF Singles, Doubles, and Team championships.

Cathedral Catholic’s 25 x 50 m outdoor swimming pool is home to the water polo and swim and dive teams.

Cathedral Catholic has two full-length turf fields. Student-athletes can often be found practicing or playing games on Cathedral Catholic’s lower turf field.

Home of Cathedral Catholic Softball, a program with nine CIF championships. Features an on-site batting cage and a state-of-the-art scoreboard.

Home of Wrestling, Dance, and Fencing. This multipurpose space is used for practices and small events and features a recently installed specialized dance floor.

On-campus event center and performance home of our theater program and Dance Team winter concert. This multipurpose venue also hosts pregame and postgame meals, awards dinners, team banquets, Hall of Fame inductions, and National Letter of Intent ceremonies throughout the year.
