Dons Alumni Hall of Fame 2024
The Office of Alumni inducted the 11th class into the Dons Sports Hall of Fame this past Saturday night. The evening was a sold-out event with 250 guests. Highlights of the evening include inducting the first Polynesian athletes who were all women and our first female golfer, very fitting with it being Women’s History Month. The inductees (individuals and teams) were nominated by their peers and selected by the committee, as well as current members of the Dons Sports Hall of Fame. Visit the Dons Sports Hall of Fame website to dive deeper and read more about all those who have been recognized with this amazing honor. We are so proud of our rich athletic history and the accomplishments of our amazing athletics teams, athletes, coaches and support staff. Once a Don, Always a Don!
Watch a recap video HERE.
The purpose of the Dons Sports Hall of Fame is to pay tribute and extend recognition to those individuals who, through the years, have contributed to the honor and fame of the Dons Athletic Program in the field of athletics and who have continued to demonstrate, in their daily lives, the values learned in athletics. We also recognize those who have contributed to the success of the individual or team through meritorious service or inspiration. Members of the Dons Hall of Fame either attended Cathedral Girls High School, University of San Diego High School, Cathedral Catholic High School, or are friends of the Dons.
