The Cathedral Catholic Girls Volleyball Team continued their impressive season with a commanding 3-0 sweep over San Dieguito Academy in the CIF Open Division Quarterfinals. With scores of 25-9, 25-16, and 25-12, the Dons showcased their strength and depth, advancing to the semifinals with confidence and momentum.

Currently boasting a remarkable 39-3 record, Cathedral Catholic holds the #1 ranking in San Diego, sits 3rd in California, and is nationally ranked at #14. Their stellar season has set high expectations as they pursue a CIF championship.

The team’s depth was on full display in the quarterfinals, as they held San Dieguito Academy to under 20 points in all three sets, demonstrating both offensive power and defensive resilience. With this victory, the Dons move one step closer to their goal of another CIF Open Division title.

Next up, Cathedral Catholic will face San Marcos in the CIF Open Division Semifinals Tuesday at home in the Claver Center. The game is set for 6 pm, and the Dons will look to extend their season record and continue their push for the championship.
