NLI Signing Day
26 student-athletes sign their letter of intent
The National Signing Day ceremony took place Wednesday, November 13th for the class of 2025 student-athletes in all sports, with the exception of football.
The National Letter of Intent (NLI) signing day is typically the biggest day for most high school students-athletes. It’s the occasion where the college coach extends an offer to the athlete to enroll, gain an education and continue their sports career. The NLI marks the day when the player commits in writing to the school of their choice, no more verbal commitments, you put your signature to the decision.
Cathedral Catholic High School had 26 student-athletes put pen to paper and commit to play their sport at the next level at universities all around the country. The student-athlete’s celebrated with their family, friends and coaches in a morning ceremony in the Guadalupe Theater. Several of the athletes went to Snapdragon Stadium after to celebrate with other athletes around San Diego county who also signed their NLI.
